Easy-to-Follow SEO Tips for Beginners
With the advent of modern technology, more people have seen the advantage of selling products online. However, not everyone achieves success in Internet marketing. Why? Because they fail to use good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy.
So, what do you need to do have a successful business online? Actually, your main goal should be to have greater site visibility in major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Once you reach that goal, you’ll have more online visitors than you ever imagined. So, how to reach your goal? Well, here’s how:
1. Get a new domain if you don’t have any existing site. But if you have, might as well retain the old domain. The reason: search engines check the age of your site and determine whether it has been up for some time already. In short, the older your site is the better. On the other hand, if it’s new, you need to wait for weeks and even months for your site to be indexed by search engines and eventually gain traffic.
2. Optimize your site: audience first, search engines second. A lot of SEO beginners commonly mistaken this to be the other way around. While it’s true that there are benefits when optimizing your site for search engines, it is still better to start focusing on your audience first since search engines change their algorithms and give priorities to user-friendly sites and not to those which are created solely for SEO purposes.
3. Research your primary keywords and keyword phrases extensively. This is of primary importance in every SEO campaign. Why? Because getting no.1 in for example, Google for unrelated keyword will not bring your site any profit. Make sure you use long tail keywords instead of general terms so that visitors can easily find your site. You can use Google Adwords and other keyword generating tools to find the right keywords for your niche.
4. Content is king. So, make sure you write only unique, original, and high quality content. If you can’t do this, you can hire writers to do content writing for a fee, let’s say $3 for a 500-word article.
5. Do work on making your site a link worthy one. To do this, you must include news, tips, and high quality content on your site. Plus, make sure to educate your online visitors through the use of videos and collect feedback from them.
So there you have it. These are just some SEO tips for you to take note when starting your business online. As you go along, you’ll sure find out more.

Seo Optimization by Google Sniper
Seo Optimization by Google Sniper is a down to earth, no nonsense, SEO tips course that comes in easy to follow video format.
A lot of buzz about SEO optimization has been created by the genius 18 year old British kid who has put together more than a few excellent SEO tips in an SEO techniques course that he named Google Sniper. The idea is to publish simple but effective multiple SEO optimizied web sites that are fine tuned for one traffic grabbing key word.
One of the most interesting things about the Google Sniper course is that a few very useful SEO tips are disclosed in free videos that he uses to promote the full course. His SEO keyword guidelines and comments about SEO copywriting are in my opinion spot on.
I like the video training format as you can pause the videos as you like and actually complete the SEO optimization tips as you watch, then pause the video. This makes it far easier to complete the SEO techniques exactly as recommended rather than by digging them out of an EBook.
Some of the benefits covered in the free SEO optimization video series are:
* No Cost – it’s completely free to get started and generates its own free traffic.
* No difficult to complete struggles – easy to do once you are shown how, no complex knowledge needed.
* Little time – no more spending a month learning SEO techniques and setting something up only to see it fail… you can get this whole thing set up and finished in an afternoon.
* Quickly & easily generate a permanent, autopilot income
* Grab 1st page Google rankings for money phrases with simple sites that take no time to set up…
* Set and forget… put in a handful of hours now, profit every month!
As the young man says, “I whittled down everything I knew about SEO, and just included the stuff that works lightning fast. I know you don’t have time to wait months before you make any money.”
One really good thing about working with Internet business is that just one or two sound SEO tips, once implemented, can make a huge difference in getting free traffic to your web site and in money making sales.
The free SEO videos are well worth watching. You can then better decide if you want to put the frosting on the SEO Optimization cake by investing a modest sum in the full SEO techniques program.
Top Ten Tips for SEO
1. Make sure search engines can find your website by putting your chosen keywords into the title of your website. These tags are found at the top of the website between the head tags. The chances of getting targeted traffic to your site greatly increase with this step.
Treat the title like a headline. Try to draw attention to your site with a good headline because this is what people will see in the search results.
2. Link pages within your site together using the keyword as the anchor text. This works better with large sites with a lot of pages, and the more links you use with the keyword as the anchor text the better.
3. Ensure the text with the title tag is used in the body of your website. Search engines do not like it when your title doesn’t appear to be related to the body.
Also when writing the body of your website, use your keywords once or twice. You can bold them to make them stand out or highlight them. Use them in some of the subheadings too.
4. Ensure that each page on your website has a different title – when search engine robots scan your website they might assume that each page is the same if they all contain the same heading. If this happens it might not index your website.
5. Meta tags are no longer as important as they used to be. Don’t stick a load of meaningless keywords in here, two or three targeted keywords should be fine.
6. Don’t link to link farms. Search engines usually know where these are and do not like them!!
7. Your website must be designed for a person, not a robot. Make sure all webpages are designed this way as search engine robots prefer pages that are human-friendly and contain data that is relevant to the search query.
8. Include a Contact Page and Terms of Use page on your website. You can usually get a template by searching on Google. Search engine robots look for these and it makes your site look more professional.
9. Make sure every image on your website is described using the alt tags. This will help search engines that index images to find your pages and will also help readers who use text only web browsers.
10. Submit your website manually to search engines. If you use a submission service or software your website might get banned.
